1. Brazilian Display Pieces: Spring NJ Gem Show finds
These pieces literally fell into my lap. A fellow vendor who clearly trusts me, brought them all boxed up to my booth, to work for him at my various shows, and my shop. 3. Handmade Wonders: Latin American Artistry at NJ Gem Show
It is not many the event that’s adorned by the sound of pan pipes – my friend here, whom I’ve seen at many shows – performs for us here, at the Spring NJ Gem Show, and shows off his wares…I didn’t realize were all self-made!
4. Perspective (some thoughts on life and the world)
It’s great to be back from essentially 4 weeks on the road – 2 wins, 1 okay, and 1 draw – but I made it in one piece, and managed the expedition really well…plus I brought back some cool stuff to share with my audience.
Thoughts on the world? OMG – the bar keeps getting lower – spent a little time keyboard battling with what is likely now an ex-friend. Some of us are motivated exclusively by feelings; others of us, we feel too, but we’re informed by history and facts. None of it matters when violence enters the picture, and the perpetrators (again) get adulation and respect. Sad state of affairs.
