1. Discounting a broad spectrum of JADE: jewelry to rough
I once hoarded Jade – loving the “Mother Earth” energy so much – and I was amazed more vendors didn’t sell it. Why is that? Unlike Sugilite, it’s a more uniform and abundant mineral. There are LOTS of sellers of Opal and Amber, but hardly any who get into Jade. I asked ChatGPT for some insight on this, and there are a variety of factors – including that fact that unscrupulous sellers aren’t honest about what is and isn’t true Jade. In any case – all the dark material here is Nephrite Jade from Canada – and the Jadeite (mostly ligher in color) from Burma featured is surprisingly cheap (not being the neon green and overvalued Imperial Jade, also from Burma). 3. Earrings that Glow Green: not dangerous to wear!
This is my second video with/about Adria’s Universe – she’s an interesting educator – and here she teaches us about Uranium earrings sold before The Manhattan Project seized that element off the market (for atom bomb production). Apparently, before 1940, this green glowing glass jewelry was popular, but not dangerous. Their radioactivity was indiscernable from background levels. Anyhow, she was a featured exhibitor at the Spring NJ Gem Show, 2025. Look her up and visit the next Hart Events USA happening: the massive Denver Gem Show at the National Western Complex September 5-14. 4. Perspective (some thoughts on life and the world)
I’ve got 5 shows between now and September 15th – Denver being the most ambitious one – not least because I need to curate and ship everything I’m selling there in just over a month, while I’m doing these other shows here on the East Coast. In preparation for that and Tucson, we’re getting an influx of new (and amazing) bracelets. Come by Portal or Reply by email – and of course watch my videos – to see what’s new and interesting! Nice to have some relative Peace, not nice to have haters unfettered and change not being for the better (in the world).
