1. Track Your Crystals: make your own ID info charts!
I was so impressed by this buyer’s system for tracking her collection AND connecting all the background info she wants on the back of laminated info sheets (with good quality photos to boot)! She also had some great pendants, and an openness to share her wisdom, which I always appreciate capturing on ‘film.’ The location was the Fall Gem Miners’ Jubilee show in Lebanon, PA. 3. Unusually located stellar show: Gem Miners Jubilee!
I’m still amazed at the breadth of vendors at this show in the middle of the state – surrounded by rolling farmland (and Amish country) in central Pennsylvania – at an Expo Center set in a town called “Lebanon” (of all places)! It actually reminds me of Denver – more sellers than the location merits – with a sprawling floor plan that spans different halls across this pretty substantial facility. I found some great stuff myself, which was fun – especially putting it out for sale – and selling some it immediately. The clientele is hard to pigeon hole – some very discerning buyers – seeking and finding unusual items. I brought in such a broad selection of items that people picked out a number of different types of items, in spite of the stiff competition all around me. Odd experience, but it keeps me coming back for more. Enigmatic show.

I’m feeling pretty optimistic right about now – a lot of us have finally exhaled since the release of the hostages – but so much other drama is afoot that I can understand stress levels being high. Do what you can to enjoy the season. And savor the moments of life you’ve been given!
