1. Quick View: my booth setup in Tucson!
Very pleased with the meticulously planned booth I set up over 3 days, alone! It’s met every expectation. Now it’s just about inviting customers in (and closing sales). I’m not pushy – just professional and polite – and I know stuff about what I’m selling. People like a story. And they like something special. A few new pieces added to the collection, on loan from trusted suppliers. I’ve got something for everyone!

3. Journey to Tucson: always worth the trip!
Although I missed my connecting flight – headwinds pushed us back an hour – I made a new friend and we rented a car to drive from Phoenix to Tucson. With a couple of days before load-in, I toured the town and checked out some of the permanent showrooms, case in point during this video. I really know my way around, and have some favorites spots I like to haunt. Even still, I always discover something new and wonderful!
4. Perspective (some thoughts on life and the world)
I’m wrapping up my first weekend in Tucson, already planning whether (or not) to attend next year, I’ve done a great job and learned a lot…but just cause you’re good at something doesn’t always mean you have to do it. Anyhow, I do like the experience, and I’m quite experienced, having done it now 4 times.
PS. No comment on the stalemate over Iran, really?! Ice dynamics divisive.
