This extraordinary over-50-gram specimen from the Zatacka locality in Czech Republic is the ultimate palm piece form, an almost perfect and thick oval, called by some an egg. The green that shows through is impacted by the light - whiter light make it more neon (cooler), and yellower light makes it more olive (warmer).
Certified by an IGS (International Gem Society) gemologist, who had this to say about this piece: "Clarity Grade Mid to Deep Green, Translucent/Cloudy. Collectors Grade. Oval Shape with Minor chips." Length: 5.6cm; Width: 3.6cm; Depth: 1.7cm Weight: 54.04g Origin: Europe (Czech Republic)
