As listed, this is a Besednice, from the locality in Czech Republic where the most revered Moldavite variety is found. None of the other types have such deep valleys and rivulets and spiky appearance that has them sometimes called hedgehogs. This one has a twisting almond shape and a natural curve reminiscent of a sail filled with wind. And it’s of the top museum grade of this material, which is no longer being mined. Moldavite is the only gem quality Tektite in the world, formed from the union of heavenly and earthly bodies 15 million years ago. We do include Statements of Authenticity with each purchase.
