How can we work together? There must be something we can do for one another! I have a space you may wish to rent for events. I have services to offer – every healer needs healing! And I have newsletters – a promotional strong point of my business for years – as well as a Practitioner-specific email list that tops a thousand folks…and not just in my area!

I can’t tell you the number of people who don’t sign onto my mailing list (at shows) ’cause they say: “Oh, I’m not from here” or “Sorry, I’m just travelling.” So what?! That’s no longer relevant. With the world getting this small…if you’re a business of the times, you must have online offerings…something that can benefit anyone, anywhere.

You might know me as “the Crystal guy” from Metaphysical Expos, but the challenges I’m facing are the same as yours: managing delivery of a personal gift while promoting and expanding outreach to serve ever more people. Hence, the concept of “ripples” as the title of my newsletter. Each of us makes a splash – and they intersect – changing, evolving, as they flow over one another “out into the world.” I work with coaches and practitioners myself – one hand washes the other – there’s no shame in seeking out support.

Now more than ever, the new conventional wisdom is coming around to the notion that you really can’t do it all yourself…you shouldn’t even try. Gone are the days of simply “toughing it out.” Check out the One Human Family video graphic about what happens when we feed each other (instead of only trying to feed ourselves). Personally, I’ve been in the mix for 30 years, since I had Cancer and changed my diet, learning about other healing modalities, and developing my own. So please don’t push “Unsubscribe” (negative thinking). Are you really above this sort of (constructive) dialog? Our goal is to increase connectedness, not eliminate it. So why not hit “Reply” instead. Try some positive thinking! Give me your input on how alternative health practitioners can team up, or support one another moving forward. If you can help me to help you – I can post your info in my newsletters – and turn you on to events & offerings that (ought to) have value for you. I’m not the only one doing this sort of thing. Take for example, the Healer Source web site. It’s got a plethora of resources and tools to support you in getting yourself out there in a professional way.

Meetup’s a great way to connect

In my area, we have a Meetup group called the Boston Healers Network – you may wish to join – or start such a group. Facebook also has support groups for like minded individuals. Business networking groups also perform a vital function in connecting professionals to new clients and opportunities. On top of Practitioners, I’m also sending this missive to all my Subscribers who clicked off “Alternative Health” as an interest of theirs, because I think this exercise will be enriching to all. There’s a continuum between service providers and recipients. We’re all healers, and we all need healing. So hopefully, this will continue and grow into a steady, rewarding resource for all to partake of.
