1. Victoria Stone & Bowlerite: Artificial Awesomeness
Represented here are 2 unique and beautiful lab grown “crystals” – Victoria Stone & Bowlerite – already in cabochon form, for YOU to make into jewelry (of which we have a few finished pieces). Victoria Stone is QUITE rare, and nobody’s been able to duplicate Dr. Iimori’s confabulation. He was a Japanese scientist in the mid-1960’s, who combined mineral type substances into a glass-like end product. It’s also called Iimori Stone. I think the blue one – the type we’ve had made into pendants – looks like some sort of iridescent Larimar. The Bowlerite is also quite unusual – it’s made from bowling balls – and I find the featured color combination to be exquisite! 3. Spectacular Wood & Stone Creations: from Tucson
When I’m selling in Tucson (at the 22nd St. show) – working EIGHTEEN 8-hour days in a row – it’s nice to go on a morning stroll and see what other folks are doing. In this case, these finely crafted wooden functional and decorative pieces, are decorated with interesting stones. I didn’t buy any, ’cause the prices didn’t allow for re-sale, but I’d love to carry any one (or more) of these pieces. They’re my type of quality.
