1. a BIG HEART: the awesomeness of crackle Calcite
A commonly repeated theme in Tucson was – someone would come into my booth and admire something, and then disappear for a few hours – as they tried to find it somewhere else. They didn’t – so they returned – and were happy to purchase my unique item after all. Such was the case on this enormous and harmoniously carved orange Calcite heart. As mentioned in the video, it resembles the Utah material, but hails from Mexico. Email Kyle@CrystalConcentrics.com w interest.

3. Fun Little Dinos: whole fossil skeletons reproduced in 3D
Over the past few years, we’ve had a lot of fun – and success – with 3D printed Crystal Dragons. Now we’ve branched out – due to popular demand – and included cats, spiders, and fanciful turtles. The latest craze is self-standing, whole fossil dinosaur skeletons made with colorful 3D printing. Come to Portal – or visit our shows – to see what the excitement is all about. 4. Perspective (some thoughts on life and the world)
I’m looking forward(?) to 4 weeks of shows in a row, starting the last weekend of April, and spanning deep into May. Of course I’ve got hundreds of video drafts in store – and will be making more, of course – but I wanted to share this one here, because it represents some new thinking on my part, about Crystals. What I discuss below, is the concept of Yin and Yang. I noticed that certain stones fit into one or the other category. Which I hadn’t really considered previously. Grouping and categorizing stones is a great way of understanding better how they can be helpful. Email Kyle@CrystalConcentrics.com with any questions.
Differently – this week, we’ve seen the deportation of a campus agitator – and so many others forcibly removed from the country. It’s not all bad and it’s not all good. These things represent not just the will of the current administration, but the fulfillment of promises made to those who elected them. The tariffs thing might be over most people’s heads – but the idea is to somehow balance our trade deficit – and also our relationship with incoming immigrants (and migrants). It may work, it may not. America has a long history of political directives swinging back and forth between presidents. It’s still a democracy, and it’s good that we all stand up for what we believe is right. We should just do so from an informed and broad perspective.
