3. To Touch or Not to Touch: tactile crystal discoveries in NYC
I racked up 250,000 views on TikTok in just 24 hours with this video – people love the quality, color, and variety here, from the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. And there was a lot of love. Of course there were some inane comments about the ones behind glass being toxic. Not necessarily so. Maybe they’re trying to protect a world class mineral collection from being broken by the pawing hands of strangers (hello!). Someone else said “some of those look kind of fake, I’d have to see them in person” – and I was like – a world class museum in one of the top 10 cities on the planet is trying to pull one over on you? Ya, right! People – I don’t understand them sometimes – a lot of times.
