Description
Some of the Seymchan meteorites (that fell in 1967) are Pallasites (with orange Olivine in them) – this one is called “stony metal” but clearly seems mostly metallic, with a slight bend in the pattern (which is not seen in most meteors). It’s a perfect triangle, set in a frame with a bale (which I believe we had added, ’cause these meteorite pendants are often poorly set). Quite unusual, very powerful. Length: 3cm; Width: 3.3cm; Height: .5cm Weight: 34.5ct Origin: Central Asia, Russia
