A pearl expert I know surmised this was a sea pearl - blister variety (growing in, as opposed to apart-from, the shell) - most likely from Indonesia. Since it's been cut out of the shell, it is then called Mabe (imagine a French accent at the end there). It's is intricately set in a flowing, custom pendant, crafted (we believe) in Poland. Length: 6.4cm; Width: 3.3cm; Height: 1.8cm Weight: 52.5ct Origin: Asia, Indonesia
